Non-Degree Students

Undergraduate Classes

Non-degree seeking (non-admitted) undergraduate students are eligible to register no earlier than two weeks prior to the first day of classes. They may register for classes for two consecutive quarters without being admitted to the university. Additional enrollment (excluding summer session) requires an application for admissions.

Graduate Classes

Do you want to take a graduate class without being admitted to a graduate program? Maybe you’re interested in taking a graduate course or two, but not planning to do a full degree program.

Under most circumstances, you must be admitted to a Graduate Program to register for a graduate class. However, a non-graduate student can be admitted as a non-degree-seeking (NDS or “non-matriculated”) student.
